This shoe is currently being made by James Taylor (see links page) this picture was sent to me by Peter Schwieger who runs the shop. it is unusual because it will have an internal raise normally raises of this height are external.

Attached are pictures of a cork raise that was added to a pair of handmade boots. They originally had rubber soles.
Note plenty of toe spring so that it is easy to roll the foot when walking.
