This sighting is one taken with a digital camera and shows a guy with a leg brace on his left
leg and a deformed right foot. After the photo was taken I got the chance to ask the guy about
his condition and he informed me that as a child he had polio which weakened the muscles
in his left leg, they gradually became so weak and wasted that a leg brace was needed to support
his leg, the leg brace is hinged at the knee and can be locked rigid or unlocked to allow his
knee to bend when sitting.
The growth in his right foot is stunted and is considerably smaller than his left foot
he informed that it always grew slowly due to polio and stopped growing completly
when he was about 10 years old and is about a size 4 shoe (about 6 inches in length).
