The Boots and braces on this page were made for Mr Richards
who suffered from Polio.
He recently passed away and his family donated to me all of the leg braces and boots that he had, all together there are 13 pairs of boots and 5 leg braces,Some are new and have never been worn they
span a  26 year period and show  constant modifictions  as
Mr Richards got older.
Because of his conditon the growth of his left foot was affected and is 2 sizes smaller than his right, (sizes 8 and 6).
 
 

......These Boots are made in brown suede and are 20 years old they have been kept boxed  as they were used for best wear and are in exellent condition.
The right boot of this pair has an internal raise of 1" presumably to allow the right boot and brace to swing through when walking although a pair the left boot has never been worn.

These boots are made in black suede and were specially made for
Mr Richards for the special occaison of his daughters wedding and so
I have been informed were his very best pair they are in immaculate condition and the soles show hardly any wear.
