Mr Warboys Condition Was brought about when he was kicked in the hip as a young boy,
the severe bruising that occoured did not come out as a normal briuse would , instead it went inwards and weakened the bone of the hip joint.
A few years later Mr Warboys contracted T.B and it attacked the weakened bone, as at that time there was no cure it was decided to fuse the hip joint and seal in the T.B. In bone.
This was done by laying him flat strapping him to a frame so that he could only move his head from side to side and allowed movement of his shoulders and arms,.
He remained like this for 9 months untill his hip had fused resulting in his thigh being fixed at 45 degrees to his pelvis.
As he grew older his Left Leg grew slower than his right leg resulting in the 6 Inch shortening, although over time this has caused him many problems He has managed to do many things including renovating and restoring a cottage on his own.
